The Engineering Summer Academy at Penn (ESAP) welcomes highly motivated and talented students to explore Engineering at the college level. The Academy’s intensive, three-week programs combine sophisticated theory with hands-on practical experience in cutting-edge technologies. Work with leading faculty while earning college credit, live on Penn’s historic campus, and connect with new friends from around the world.

Application fee: $85
Pricing: The program cost $8,000. Financial aid is available to students with demonstrated financial need. The program fee covers all tuition, room/ board, meals, course materials, and program-related trips. Please, note this does not include travel costs to or from the program.
Eligibility:
Admissions is highly selective, and each required element of the application is taken into careful consideration. Students who succeed in ESAP not only demonstrate a history of academic excellence, but also creative thinking skills, the ability to work well independently as well as on a team, and the motivation to take an active learning role in a collegiate environment.The program is designed for rising sophomores to rising seniors. Applicants must have completed their freshman year in high school (ninth grade) and must be at least 15 years of age by the start of the program (Move-in day)
TPS and DACA students are welcome at the University of Pennsylvania, so they would also be welcome at ESAP. Yes, they would be eligible to apply. For students filling out an application, they can select that they are a foreign national student. However, since they are currently studying in the US, they would not need to provide any visa information.
