Eligibility:
Pre-College Summer Session provides high school students with the unique opportunity to take summer courses offered by Carnegie Mellon University for credit.
Two courses completed in six weeks are as academically demanding as a full-time undergraduate course schedule.
Be at least 16 years old by the program start date.
• Be a current sophomore or junior in high school
• Be in good academic standing and exhibit the ability to succeed in rigorous, fast-paced coursework
There are three programs (AI Scholars, Computer Science Scholars, and Summer Academy for Math and Science) which are fully funded, merit-based programs that unfortunately are not open to most international students. However, in the case of these programs, we align with our Undergraduate Admissions policy on financial aid, which does include DACA students for consideration. TPS students, I'm afraid, would be ineligible to apply.
If this is for any other program in our catalogue, both TPS & DACA students would be welcome to apply.
