The project:

Choose a hustle or a crime. It may be invented or one you find in Internet.

Parts of the project:

1. Make a role play and perform the hustle.

Describe what you have done: The trick, the victim, the hustle, the objective, the legal consequences, historical examples, other information.

You may also choose another type of crime with a real historical example; eg. Jack the Ripper. Then document the crime with the history, the facts, and make a presentation about it.

2. Interview with the criminal. Role play an interview with the criminal in which you ask him/her questions about his/her crime or hustle.

What is your name? where are you from? what did you do? etc...

3. If there was a police investigation, give us details about it.

4. You may also have a debate regarding the legal consequences. Interview the victims, the witnesses, etc.

5. Has there been a TRIAL, what was the verdict or sentence?

Possible Roles:

• Student 1 and 2: describe the crime/hustle
  • Participate in the script and later role play
• student 3 and 4:
  • Do the interview (with answers they've investigated)
  • Prepare script for role play.

• All students do:
  • Role play
  • video and/or power point presentation
  • Research
