Seraphlumes

"Seraphlumes are peaceful spirits that protect the humans of the Strongcold. A hymn is enough to summon 1 or 2. They are female spirits made when a goddess dies in the Strongcold. These divine mothers to humanity shed scales that repel demons and heal mortals."

Seraphlumes are based off the Peacock butterfly. They are massive divine butterfly spirits that protect humans. They feel fondness for humans and attack demons whether said demons threaten humans or not. They attack by flapping their wings, which sheds scales that heal humans and hurt demons. These mighty flaps allow them to blow away smaller demons and stay in the air longer.

A seraphlume appears at the beginning of the Drathivel fight. Drathivel was too strong for her, however, so she just warned Kurt by flapping her wings. It is one of the only docile spirits in the Strongcold. They harbor no aggression for humans, only demons. You can call them spirits or goddesses, either works.

They are very large. A group of them is often referred to as a "Flutter". Their scales are about as big as a plate. Pressing a scale against your chest closes scars and rids you of diseases and mental illnesses. They cannot feel offense or anything, the only emotions they feel are love and anger, and anger is reserved for demons only.
