What We Believe

  • We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and it is the basis for all Christian teaching in our church.

  • We believe that God has created all that exists: The stars, plants, animals, humanity, and has created you as someone very special!

  • We believe that the world was created perfect and good, but sin has entered into life. Sin has had its adverse affect in its many facets, and ultimately the wages of sin is death,

  • The Good News is Jesus Christ came into the world as God in human flesh. Jesus was God. He did the many miracles, taught about the Kingdom of Heaven, forgave sins, and ultimately died on the cross for us.

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit who gives us spiritual life and faith to live in relationship with God. We continue to grow in the holiness of God throughout of lives by doing the good works that he has called us to do, and by living a virtuous life. The Holy Spirit calls, gathers, and enlightens all Christian believers to be the Kingdom of God (church) in the world.

  • We believe that God graciously offers the life of Christ and the promise of salvation by hearing the Word, and receiving the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
