This week for Pastor Edgar and Betty and their family at the passing of Pastor Edgar's father, Edgar Schambach, Sr., who passed away on

INVITATION FOR LENT MEAL – APRIL 10
Come out and support our final Lent evening meal on April 10 next Wednesday night. The menu will be a pulled pork sandwich, salads, baked beans, and desserts. Free will offering will be accepted to assist Carol & Jerry’s daughter, Jennifer Pavlik, with medical expenses.
LENTEN WORSHIP SERIES
Lenten Series on Wednesday at 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM – “By My Hand, For My Sake” – On Wednesdays in Lent beginning March 6, our worship services will include monologues from biblical figures whose lives and interests contributed to the death of Christ. As we hear their stories, we will be invited to ponder how our own lives and choices required Christ’s example of radical love and sacrifice on the cross, or how we proclaim his resurrected life within us. Join us for a meal on Wednesday evenings prior to worship in the fellowship hall.
SPRING CLEANUP DAY – SATURDAY APRIL 27
The Property Team is requesting help in completing some outdoor cleanup tasks to help ready the Prayer Garden and church property for the spring /summer season. We will start at 8:30am and should be completed before lunch. Gloves, rakes, and other outdoor lawn and garden cleanup tools would be good to bring along. Please help us care for your church!
SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – MAY 5
Our Church Council has set Sunday, May 5 at 10:15 AM for a Special Congregational Meeting. Two items will be on the agenda. Item #1 – Adopting a series of bylaw changes to the St. Pauls Child Care and Preschool Bylaws and to our congregation’s bylaws, all of which are related to the merging of our child care and preschool into one entity as a children’s early learning center. Item #2 – Approving the use of funds from the St. Pauls Capital Improvement Fund for the Karr tuck-pointing project, which will begin in the late summer or early fall.
