IB Learner Profile & ATL Skills

Our IB Learner Profile Attributes are Balanced, Thinker, and Knowledgeable. We Chose those IB Learner Profiles because:

 For Balanced:

 Throughout the PYP Exhibition, we tried our best to be balanced. Every time we had multiple pieces of work that we had to do. We divided our work equally between each member, we tried to be fair most of the time but sometimes when members did not finish their past work or work that they left for me to finish, even though it was their work and they did not submit. The next time we would try to give them more work to do as a result of their actions. Throughout the PYP Exhibition we would try to focus on a balanced number of subjects and tasks at a time so members of the Stolen Idea team would not get stressed out from the amount of work they had to do. We would also try to sort out the hard working members and the people who were distracting. So if a member was putting a lot of effort into the tasks they had done we would try to help them more. But if a member was distracted we would give him more work so he would understand his actions.

For Thinker:

 Throughout the PYP Exhibition, we utilized our thinking skills to correctly be able to do effective research, since many blogs or websites have biased and false information. We tried our best to utilize our critical thinking skills to be able to differentiate the false information and filter out biased information. When making interviews or finding ways to show how our subject: Plagiarism is bad, we utilized our creative thinking skills to find better ways, or make our actions more interesting so people will want to learn about plagiarism. In the exhibition, we had to utilize our critical thinking skills to be able to consider the different perspective of the people who plagiarise so our information is not only 1 sided. We also needed our thinking skills to be able to analyze our information correctly and actually understand what we are presenting.

 For Knowledgeable:

 Throughout the PYP Exhibition we came to learn a lot of new information and valuable lessons and helpful skills, we also need to use our past knowledge, since in the PYP Exhibition we have to utilize the skills and the information we have learned in past lessons. The PYPX is that exhibition where we show that we can utilize the skills and past lessons to max capacity. That's why we had to be smart about our choices and show that we can correctly utilize the skills and past lessons in a correct and efficient yet worth.

Throughout

Our Approaches to Learning Skill Attributes are Research Skills and Thinking Skills. We Chose those ATL Skills because:

For Research Skills:

 Throughout the exhibition tons of Research had be done to gain a deeper understanding and to have correct and unbiased information to present in the Exhibition. We had to use our Research skills correctly to be able to gather information and thus have a deeper understanding of our subject, this is important because we have to know our subject when we presented or share it with, others. Also, Research is a crucial part of the PYP Exhibition, we had to gather information so we can correctly plan out the most effective and efficient ways to share about our Subject and, how to solve the issue. Research skills are needed to gather the information that we later utilized it to help us share and present it for the PYP Exhibition. Research is very crucial, without gathering information we cannot correctly tell the people what we share to how to avoid, and we cannot help them understand the subject at all, thus ruining all the effort we have put in.

For Thinking Skills:

 Throughout the exhibition, there are a lot of options and important decisions that we had to make to have an effective impact on the world or our school about the subject that we chose. We had to correctly choose the right ways since in the Exhibition one wrong choice or decision can ruin the whole project and destroy all the past effort that we have put into the Exhibition. We also needed to gain a deeper understanding of our subject, without using our crucial thinking skills we cannot gain a correct and good understanding of our subject thus causing us to fail. On the internet, while doing research or making interviews we had to use our thinking skills to correctly be able to find out and differentiate between Biased and Misinformation and Correct and useful & trusted information. We had to also use our creative thinking skills to find efficient and impacting ways to create our actions and do actions  about our subject.
