We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our lab member, Dr. Nurhidayah who concluded their journey with us on 11 November 2025. Your dedication, teamwork, and resilience have contributed greatly to the growth of our research group. We are grateful for the time spent together—from experiments and discussions to the small everyday moments that shaped our lab culture.

As you move forward to new opportunities, we hope the skills and memories gained here will strengthen your path ahead. Thank you for being part of our lab and we wish you continued success in your future endeavours.

This farewell marks the end of a chapter, but the connections we built will always remain. 

We would like to honour our departing lab members who concluded their postgraduate journey with us on 3 September 2025, especially Dr. Aliah and Dr. Auni, who have been the heart of our lab for so many years. Your unwavering dedication, patience and support—both in research and in guiding others have shaped the foundation of our lab culture.

The milestones we achieved together stand as a reflection of your hard work, passion and the countless quiet contributions that often went unnoticed but were deeply felt. As you move forward to new chapters, we hope you carry with you not only the skills and accomplishments gained here, but also the friendships, laughter and shared memories that made our time together meaningful.

Thank you for everything you have given to this lab. Your presence will be truly missed and we wish you success, fulfilment and endless opportunities in the future.

It has been a pleasure witnessing your growth and commitment throughout your time here, both academically and personally. As you return to the next chapter of your journey, we hope the experiences, friendships and skills gained in our lab will continue to support your future goals.

Our STF Lab members gathered for a combined Lab Meeting and Hari Raya Celebration, sharing a warm and festive atmosphere together. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed food and refreshments, making the occasion meaningful and enjoyable.

We are also grateful to the lecturers who joined us and added to the spirit of togetherness during this special celebration. 

STF lab members came together celebrating Eid al -Adha.  Thank you for all the foods and drinks brought by our lab members. Also thankful for the lecturers that joined us.  

Our STF lab members held a  gotong- royong to re-organized and clean the laboratory chemicals . This program was supervised by our laboratory assistant Puan Wawa and other STF lecturers, Dr Lim, Dr Chen and Dr Mus.

Form 5 students from SMK Datuk Abdullah paid a visit to Faculty Science, UPM laboratories to expose them to the research environment and facilities available in our laboratories. It is hope that the visit inspire the students to be more curious and attracted to the world of science and technology and pursue them in higher education.

On this day, a gotong- royong was held among laboratory members to re-organized and clean thoroughly both lab spaces for a fresh start in the new year of 2024 . This program was supervised by our laboratory assistant Puan Wawa and other STF lecturers, Dr Lim, Dr Chen and Dr Mus.

On May 26th, our lab organized a communal work or gotong-royong to sort out all of the expired chemicals as well as the new chemicals that had not been officially added to the list of chemicals. This programme was led by our laboratory assistant, Madam Najwa, and was supervised by Dr. Lim, Dr. Chen, Dr. Mus, and Dr. Kashfi.

Congratulations to all UPSI and UTM Skudai internship students who successfully completed the internship program in our laboratory. Practical training is a professional way for students to learn and try out new skills, especially when working in a laboratory.

We are delighted to celebrate Eid with our STFLab members. Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to Mr. Razak, who is an important person in our lab. Thank you for everything, and we would also like to welcome Madam Nik Afida, who will take on Tuan Razak's responsibilities later.
