Superconductor & Thin Film Laboratory was established in 1996 by Prof. Dr. Abd. Halim Shaari. Our research focuses on medium- and high-temperature superconductors and collosal/giant magnetoresistance (CMR/GMR) materials, and it is funded by grants and collaborations with other universities, international laboratories, and industrial partners.
We continually educate post-graduate, graduate, and undergraduate students through our research and community service. Our researcher actively synthesizes a new method of superconducting materials, creating techniques that might help break down obstacles and open the door to a wide range of possible uses.
