CAD Sub-Team
Designing and assembling 3D or 2D models of the robot drivetrain and mechanisms digitally so the components smoothly function while fitting within the game's rules, providing models that can be precisely machined.
Mechanical Sub-team
Designing and constructing the frame and drivetrain ensuring it seamlessly fits the manipulator and endgame mechanisms, testing the individual components within the frame and drivetrain, working with the CAD team on designs and bill of materials, designing and building the scoring mechanisms needed for the current game, testing the individual components.
Electrical Sub-team
Managing all wiring and pneumatics for the robot, planning the placement of the main components, and responsible for the battery management.
Programming Sub-team
Being in charge of building and programming the controls interface, deciding on the best software and hardware to be used within the rules, writing and testing all coding for the robot, and setting up controls for the robot.
