Zerg variant strain of the Nydus Worm. It can produce creep in a long straight line. The creep will be sustained as long as the tower is alive or player orders it to produce creep in a new direction
Labeled as PrimalProductionB this structure was more than likely suppose to function as a sort of Barracks for the Primal Zerg before being replaced with the Primal Hive
Early model of the Spine Crawler
Early model of the Baneling Nest
Another early concept of the Baneling Nest used a fat immobile "Baneling Brood Mother" as part of the structure.
Early model of a Creep Colony
Early model of the Evolution Chamber
A fully complete spore colony, complete with attacks, animations and stats exists in the Galaxy Map Editor. It uses a shrunk model of the Spore Cannon. It has yet to appear in-game.
The Underfiend is a Zerg creature that appears in concept art for Heart of the Swarm. More than likely a Nydus Worm that can defend itself.

Zerg defensive structure created by a Creep Tumor
Early model of a Roach Warren/Roach Nest
Early model of a Spawning Pool
Early Model of a Hatchery/Lair/Hive
Early model of a Spire

Early model of the Ultralisk Cavern later to be used as the Roach Warren
Early model of the Ultralisk Cavern
Zerg building which produces swarms of Broodlings periodically. Its model was seemingly recycled into the Impaler Colony and Sunken Colony
The Nydus Destroyer is a Zerg variant strain of the Nydus Worm
Concept art for Zerg structure that is similar to a Proximety Mine
Early model of the Sunken/Impaler Colony
At some point, Creep Colonies were present in the game engine of StarCraft II.
However, the Creep Colony was replaced by the Creep Tumor, and the defenses with the Spine Crawler and the Spore Crawler respectively.
In older versions of StarCraft II, the Creep Tumor could evolve into a Shrieker. Shriekers extended the range of Swarm Clutches to anywhere within its own detection radius, and through careful positioning could effectively double their attack range in some cases.
Creep tumors used to be produced from hatcheries within a given range of the producing building.
The spore colony had reappeared in StarCraft II as a mobile Queen-produced defensive structure. In its mobile form, it had fewer hit points.
The Spore Colony could move on crab-like legs outside of the boundaries of creep, but like other Zerg structures would slowly degenerate and eventually die if it remained outside of the boundaries for too long. Spore Colonies could not be planted outside of the creep
The Creep Colony could be upgraded to the Sunken Colony, which was a ground defense unit that would stab enemies with its tentacle. Sadly the Spine Crawler rendered it obsolete.
While moving, Spine and Spore Crawlers used to lose their armor and their hit points were reduced to 100. They had a movement speed of 2.25 (1 off of creep) and dealt 20 (+20 vs. Armored) damage while rooted with an attack speed of 1.5.
At some point, the Queen's Nest was in the StarCraft II game engine. Its model was used by Nydus Warrens (now Nydus Network) and was at one point represented by the Roach Warren.
The Nydus Destroyer is a Zerg variant strain of the Nydus Worm that appears in Heart of the Swarm beta files. It could be summoned from a Greater Nydus Network. It has an acid attack which it fires at structures only. It cannot load units.
Despite not being used in Legacy of the Void, the attack data was changed to allow targeting of units. It is known there internally as "NydusCanalAttacker", can produce creep, and is invulnerable while spawning.
The Shrieker is a now-canceled Zerg structure which was produced from a Creep Tumor and used to defend a Zerg base. Resembling a small tower, it acted as a detector, shrieking when enemy units drew near.
It was associated with Swarm Clutches. It extended the range of any such biomorph to anywhere within its own detection radius, and through careful positioning could effectively double their attack range in some cases.
The Shrieker cost 50 minerals and used to require an evolution chamber to create one.
The Swarm Clutch is a now-canceled structure, similar to a proximity mine, consisting of a set of eggs laid by a Zerg Queen. It resembled a series of tubes. They hatched when enemies approach, attacking land and air units.
The Swarm Clutch had a slow but powerful attack, dealing high damage over time by launching suicidal "bugs". Swarm Clutch units had low health. Shriekers extended the range of swarm clutches to anywhere within its own detection radius, and through careful positioning could effectively double their attack range in some cases.
The Swarm Clutch last possessed a size of 1x1. This was set to be increased to 2x2 in a later build.
The swarm clutch used to be created by the Queen but this is no longer the case. It was later canceled.
