Ticket & Reporting TJO Rules
As of 17/11/2022, reports are handled through a ticket system. Below are the rules every staff member should know when dealing with reports via tickets.Â
After you've resolved/closed the ticket, you must run $transcript or click the transcript button to save the ticket as a transcript.
Only JC+ have the authority to delete a ticket, and only after they have visually verified that they or another staff member have saved the ticket transcript.
Do not create tickets to "test the system".
You must utilize $rename (username(s) of the reported person(s)) before closing the ticket, then save a transcript.
If someone else is handling a ticket, you are not permitted to get involved. Avoid engaging in pointless side conversation.
Only a Jedi Council member can handle reports filed against staff. Only developers or Jedi Council members may answer reports on dev-related complaints.
Of course, this rule does not apply if the case is absurd and lacks sense.
Do not respond to the ticket if you are unable to handle it. You can ping an accessible person, such as a JC or a JM, if you need help.
If you are being investigated in a ticket, you have the right to defend yourself, but unless the case is absurd, a higher rank must deal with the ticket.
If the reporter does not use a file type that Discord can automatically play, you have the right to reject to download the file for safety reasons, however you can still do so.
If several (3 or more) members of the Jedi Council get involved in one ticket, anyone who is not a member of the Jedi Council is to cease chatting in the ticket unless told otherwise.
Use common sense.
