Firstly, announce the training in #event_announcements. Gather all your attendees on mats by setting the message to "Combat Training at the mats, say 'I' for a tp". When you start the training, introduce yourself and your co-host (if there is one) and explain the mandatory rules to your attendees. You should wait a minimum of 5 minutes before starting a training and a minimum of 10 minutes before cancelling.
The co-host then proceeds to explain the three main Force abilities: Force Push, Force Heal, and Force Grab. Then demonstrate dueling tactics: Animation Cancel, Double Hit, and Ghost Block. The host will do this if there is no co-host present.
The attendees now have to showcase their combat skills by following any of these activities:
1v1 duels
Health Rotations (HRs) - there should be two teams with the same number of duelists. When they are low on blocks or health, they can swap with their teammate.
Gladiators (Glads) - two teams with the same number of duelists. In gladiators, the participants cannot swap but duel to the death.
Pass those who have demonstrated the required knowledge. Post the proof with a screenshot in this format: "All in STS have passed my Combat Training on Day/Month/Year."
Announce the training in #event_announcements. Gather all attendees in the library by setting the message to "Lore Training at Library, say 'I' for a tp". Start off by introducing yourself and your co-host, if one is present, and then explain the rules of your training. Summarize what you will be doing in this training and explain to the attendees that they can use the "!notepad" command to take notes.
Choose a Star Wars-related topic beforehand and the co-host if there is one will educate your participants on the topic. When the co-host finishes, the host gives them a five-question quiz where they must get 3/5 correct to pass. If no co-host present, the host will provide the education on the topic.
You can find lore in the Jedi Archives.
When concluding, make sure to use the correct format: "All in STS have passed my Lore Training on Day/Month/Year."
You will first announce your training in the #event_announcements channel in the TJO discord server. Gather your attendees in the Auditorium/Jedi Spawn by setting the message to "Gathering at Jedi Spawn, say 'I' for a tp.".
Introduce yourself and the co-host (if there is one), then continue to explain the rules of the gathering. Recite the crystal code with the participants. The co-host should recite with the attendees if there is one present. After the recitation, give the attendees five to ten minutes to find a canon crystal (white, purple, cyan, yellow, green, red, etc.). If they reach it in time, have the attendees gather around the crystal and give an explanation of what a kyber crystal is in general and why it is so valuable to the Order. Do not quiz them.
If they reach it in time, they should pass. Use the correct format when taking the screenshot: "All in STS have passed my Lore Training on Day/Month/Year."
Staff trainings are a type of training catered towards specifically staff members of the Jedi Order. To host one you need to DM a JC for approval first. And to get approved by a JC to conduct a staff training, you need to outline to them what topic you will teach. Some topics that can be taught in staff trainings include admin usage, staff combat trainings, or staff moderation trainings.
Used for Combat Trainings.
Used for Lore Trainings.
Used for Gatherings.
When posting proof, make sure the screenshots contain the correct format: "All in STS have passed my event on Day/Month/Year."
If supervising, make sure to log an attendee if they need to be promoted.
When Jedi Instructors make a log in #promotions, it should be a Jedi Master's+ duty to promote them in the actual group.
If you notice a member of the staff team hosting improperly, using suspicious admin commands during the training or teaching the wrong content. You are to report to a Jedi Master+ immediately, only Jedi Master+ are allowed to intervene in trainings to assist the host.
