Membership Information

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA) and/or the Sportsman's Chapter, please contact:

You may also stop by the chapter house during any general membership meeting held on the first Wednesday of every month (except during July and August) at 7:30 pm to inquire about joining our chapter and to see first-hand what we have to offer!

Benefits of Membership!

To be part of a national, state and local organization that demonstrates a common sense, grassroots approach to conservation issues. Membership includes a subscription to IWLA's Outdoor America quarterly magazine, Maryland Division newsletters and Chapter news.

2024 Sportsman's Chapter Annual Membership Dues for the Calendar Year (January 1 - December 31):

Individual Dues: $70

Family Dues: $90

Student Dues (ages 18 - 21)  $30

Youth Dues (ages 17 and under):  $17

Note: A one-time $25 initiation fee applies to all new members.  This initiation fee does not apply to renewals, or student and youth memberships.  All new individual or family memberships must appear before the general membership at one of our monthly general membership meetings.  Family memberships include two adults and children (ages 17 and under) residing with their parents.

All Sportsman's Chapter Membership levels include applicable fees to National IWLA and  Maryland State Division. 

*Membership in the IWLA and the Sportsman's Chapter is a privilege which is granted only to persons of good character who support the conservation and wise stewardship of our natural resources.
