What vehicles are eligible on GrabPet?
All GrabCar vehicle models are accepted on GrabPet.
All GrabCar 6 vehicle models are accepted on GrabPet XL.
What is in the in-car kit?
Each in-car kit includes:
1 x microfibre cloth
1 x pet seat cover
The first set of in-car kit will be distributed free of charge to all trained GrabPet driver-partners.
GrabPet XL vehicles must be equipped with 2 pet seat covers. If you would like to join this service, you are required to purchase an additional pet seat cover at $20.
How much do I need to pay to join GrabPet?
The first set of in-car kit will be distributed free of charge to all trained GrabPet driver-partners. Other cost(s) include:
$30 training fee (for GrabPet and GrabPet XL)
$20 for 2nd pet seat cover (for GrabPet XL only)
It is mandatory for all GrabPet XL driver-partners to purchase the 2nd pet seat cover (Grab-branded), even if you are sharing your vehicle with other Grab driver-partners.
When will the payment and activation be processed?
All payments and activations are processed within 3 working days upon completion of training and assessment, and collection of in-car kit.
Can I join GrabPet if I am on GrabTaxi?
GrabPet and GrabPet XL are offered to GrabCar driver-partners only. GrabTaxi driver-partners will not be eligible.
What types of animals are allowed on GrabPet?
Any household pets approved by the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) except birds are allowed on GrabPet:
Pets must be treated against parasites, ticks, and fleas before the ride and accompanied by at least 1 adult during the commute
AVS Second Schedule dog breeds must be muzzled at all times
Transportation of pets for commercial purposes and unauthorised trading of pets are strictly prohibited
How many pets are allowed on GrabPet?
Each GrabPet ride can accommodate up to 2 medium-sized pets (e.g. poodles, cats, rabbits) or 1 large-sized pet (e.g. golden retrievers):
Each GrabPet XL ride can accommodate up to 6 users (passengers + pets):
Can I accept the booking if passengers come with more pets than what is stated in the policy?
You may allow extra pets at your discretion. However, please take note that you cannot impose additional surcharges.
Can I accept the job if passengers travelling with their pets book a non-GrabPet ride?
Passengers are strongly discouraged to travel with their pets on non-GrabPet rides as they do not provide pet insurance coverage. In this case, kindly advise them to book the correct service that suits their mobility needs.
