Service

What is the differences between GrabExec and GrabCar Premium? 

Other than the differences in vehicle models, GrabExec also requires a higher level of service standard.  

Will there be advance bookings? 

Advance booking is currently not available on GrabExec. 

What do I need to take note of when providing a GrabExec ride?

Firstly, always ensure that in-car kits such as charging cable and umbrella are always available for the use of passengers. 

Second, ensure that you are well-groomed and dressed appropriately as a GrabExec-Driver Partner. 

Lastly, always remember the 4 Quality Service steps for every GrabExec Ride.

What happens if it rains and passengers are uncomfortable sharing an umbrella?

It is always great to prepare an additional umbrella for both you and your passenger!

Surcharges

Will there be midnight surcharges?

Effective 20 June 2022, the midnight surcharge of $10 per trip for booking that occurs between 12 am – 6 am daily for GrabCar Premium, GrabCar Premium 6, GrabExec and GrabExec 6 has been automated. The midnight surcharge is included in the fare upfront.

Vehicle Model

What vehicles are eligible on GrabExec?

Can i request to add my vehicle model if it is not on the eligible list? 

The eligibility list is carefully curated to ensure that only suitable vehicles are hand-picked for the best experience. Any appeal is subjected to approval. 

What happens if I change my vehicle?

Non-eligible to an eligible vehicle: If you have yet to register as a GrabExec Driver-Partner, simply register through the registration form. Otherwise, please submit this form to update your service type. 

Eligible to a non-eligible vehicle: You will be deactivated on GrabExec. You will be missed but don’t worry, you will still receive jobs from other services that you are eligible for!

Should I upgrade my vehicle to a model that is eligible for GrabExec?

You are strongly encouraged to complete your existing contract first. When it ends, you may subsequently opt for an eligible vehicle model. 

Can I join GrabExec if I am driving Taxi?

Selected taxi fleet partners such as Prime Taxi and Trans-Cab are eligible to be GrabExec with eligible vehicle model.

Can I do both GrabExec and GrabCar Premium Jobs?

Yes, you may turn on both service types at the same time as long as you are eligible.

Upon verification of your online training quiz result, you will receive an in-app message to collect your Exec Kit at Grab@Tamp. 

Can i get activated before collection of Exec Kit?

No, you are required to collect your Exec kit before service activation. 

Vehicle Inspection

Why is vehicle inspection required for vehicle above 8 years old?

The vehicle inspection is to assess the vehicle condition to determine the suitability of the vehicle to provide the best experience.

Where is the vehicle inspection conducted at?

GrabExec inspection is available upon scheduled appointment at Grab@Tamp. 

What if i failed the vehicle inspection? Can i request for another session for inspection?

Based on the condition of the vehicle, you may be requested to refurbish/touch up the vehicle. Our inspection officer will be able to advise you further on-site. 

If i passed the vehicle inspection, can i collect the Exec Kits immediately? 

Yes, upon passing the vehicle inspection, our inspection officer will direct you to collect your Exec kits at Grab@Tamp.
