The work package took place in the city of Brussels (Belgium) from 7 to 11st April 2025. This is the last work package of the project. Students from different countries participated in the following activities.
We visited the European Parliament, one of the most important institutions of the European Union. Outside, we recorded a video in which the students presented some of the conclusions of our project. Once inside, we visited the hemicycle and Janet Barthet explained some of the most relevant facts and the students could ask about their concerns.

Learning from the point of view of science how human action influences the environment. It is a research institute with more than 200 scientists and dozens of scientific collaborators covering a wide range of disciplines from biology, taxonomy and oceanography to geology, palaeontology and anthropology. For their studies, their researchers often make use of our vast collections which hold almost 38 million specimens. And they support national and international decision-makers with their scientific expertise.

meet the Commission President in a virtual environment.
travel to places where the Commission is active through an immersive virtual reality experience.
take a virtual tour of the iconic Berlaymont building.
follow the European Commission on social media.
take part in games and improve your knowledge of the EU at ‘Play Europe’.
Right next to Ghent, in the middle of the silence, is the Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen Nature Reserve. This magnificent and extensive wetland area is an area of great environmental importance, as is particularly evident during the migration season. Every year tens of thousands of birds perch here to nest in the purity of this Flemish landscape.
By addressing these challenges through targeted conservation and management actions, the Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen Nature Reserve can continue to thrive as a crucial natural habitat for future generations.
We use the same Word game groups to perform two tasks:
1. Complete a table analyzing threats to the nature reserve, making proposals to solve those problems.
2. Reflect on the amount of CO2 that the use of different means of transport entails.
To carry out the groups we gave out bracelets with the name of each team and the students used their mobile devices.
STAM is the Ghent city museum. It presents the story of the city of Ghent. A permanent circuit leads visitors along a chronological trail of objects and multimedia which trace the development and growth of Ghent. Temporary exhibitions explore the concept of 'urbanity' from different angles
