This work package took place in the city of Zmijavci (Croatia) from 6 to 11 October 2024. Students from different countries participated in the following activities:
The students organized different performances to welcome the students from other schools. The activity was coordinated by Italian and French teachers Matea Jonjić and Kristina Jakić, with the participation of other teachers and the headmaster.
Workshop STEAM Eco-lab Sustainable Creations "From trash to treasure".
In this workshop the pupils had to make different souvenirs from different countries using recycled materials:
newspapers and magazines
toilet paper rolls
Aluminum cans
Bottle caps,...
They also made presentations about their products.
This workshop was led by ICT teacher and Scientix ambassador Alma Šuto .
Using the programming language, the students would have to use a robot to trace a route.
They used the program micro:bit.
Workshop Getting to know each other / cultural exchange fair.
In international groups they had to research different cultural aspects of each country:
typical food,
folklore,
monuments,
nature reserves,...
They then presented their work to the rest of their classmates.
Escape city of Imotski. The game that consists of an easy escape room mixed with an orientation race. The pupils used their mobile devices to follow a route through the village, where they had to carry out tests related to the theme of the project at the points marked with qr codes.
Students work in international and interlevel groups. Each had to research a European woman scientist and prepare an oral presentation using Power point.

From trash to treasure lab
The activities in this work package have been geared towards promoting STEAM and TEAL methodology. For this purpose, both international and international groups have been designed. The participating students were between 12 and 15 years old.
In addition, the program was accompanied by other cultural and social activities:
Walking tour to the Blue and Red lake. Imotski it is famous for its two karst lakes, a true natural phenomenon – Blue and Red Lake, often called the “pearls of nature”. Blue Lake is located on the very edge of the town and the Red Lake is located only kilometer away. Blue lake got its name from the color of the water, and the Red Lake from the color of the surrounding cliffs.
Village Olympic. In the afternoon we lived an experience of coexistence in which the team of teachers of the school organized activities such as sack races, rope team games and other popular games that made us live a fantastic day. They also organized a snack.
Visit to the Heritage Museum of Imotski.
