This work package took place in the city of Alcázar de San Juan (Spain) from 6 to 11 May 2024. Students from different countries participated in the following activities:
The music students organized different performances to welcome the students from other schools. The activity was coordinated by music teachers Ana Gloria Quesada and Mar Monteagudo.
The students used Arduino boards and Scratch software. They had to program the actions indicated by the teachers in heterogeneous teams.
Workshop led by Tech teachers Antonio Bailén and Juan Lizcano.
For this workshop we used the design thingking methodology, in which the students in interlevel and interdisciplinary groups had to create a product related to the awareness of the use of plastics. Workshop led by Special Education teacher Luis Zarco. We also had the collaboration of students from the 1st year of Bachillerato, which facilitated communication in English in the groups.
We held a debate on the use of plastics. For this purpose, international and international groups were formed. Workshop led by Spanish Language teacher Mariano Cuartero.
STEAM workshop on the greenhouse effect. In this activity, the students were able to see how the greenhouse effect is produced by means of an experiment. In addition, they recorded data to see what effects this effect can have.

STEAM workshop on "Green Chemistry". Workshop with different practices related to the environment.
Workshop led by Chemistry teachers Montserrat Borrallo and Laura López.
Workshop "My new friends". In this workshop we explained our Pupil Helper programme, which has as its main objective the improvement of coexistence in the school through pupil participation.
The workshop was led by the group of 1st and 2nd ESO students from the Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra Institute and the program coordinator, Mercedes Martínez.
Bicycle route through the Alcázar de San Juan lagoons, a UNESCO protected area.
We did a guided and interpreted route in collaboration with the environmental technician Victoria García.
The complex comprises three lagoons: La Veguilla, Camino de Villafranca and Las Yeguas. La Veguilla receives water from the purified water of the purified water station of Alcázar de San Juan, so it maintains water throughout the year. The other two are semi-stationary in nature, their volume level depending on rainfall and the contributions derived from La Veguilla through a canal, so their current ecological characteristics differ from those of the first.
