COVID 19 Protocols to Protect You

June 17, 2021

To all our clients,

We will be reopening in a limited capacity as of June 15th.

A new protocol will be in place to protect all persons inside our building from COVID-19, and still work towards normal business operation. This protocol will be updated as the state and county vaccination rate increases.

Protocols in place to protect you:

1. When you arrive for your pet's appointment, please text (530) 750-9344. A technician will bring you and your pet inside the hospital. Due to the small size of our reception lobby, we are only allowing 2 clients in the lobby at a time.

2. Please only one person per appointment with the doctor. If the appointment is for a euthanasia then two people are allowed into the exam room.

3. Hand sanitizing stations are available in all exam rooms and by the reception door. Please use them after touching high touch surfaces like door handles and credit card terminals.

5. Our staff will perform thorough disinfection of all exam rooms after every appointment. Reception areas will be disinfected routinely.

6. If you are not comfortable with entering the building, please let your technician know by asking for "Curbside Service."

7. Prescription medication and Diet pick up will still be provided as a curbside service. Please text (530) 750-9344 when you arrive to pick up your pet's diet or medication.

Requirements:

1. Masks will be worn by ALL people at ALL times when you are inside the hospital.

2. Please allow our staff to handle or restrain your pet during your pet's examination to maintain safety and social distancing.

Implementing these precautions takes time and effort. We appreciate your work as well to stay healthy and not potentially spread COVID-19. This is a community effort keeping people and pets healthy.

Thank you!
