Why I Do It

As a freshman in High School, I wanted to get myself involved in as many things I could so I can get comfortable with the school and the girls that attended. I joined the Ambassadors Society because I want to represent my school and inform potential incoming students the great opportunities it has. I participate in Barristers because i would like to learn more about our state and country and the laws that are set here. As I explained in other pages, I'm involved in Praise Night Club because I love to sing and be involved. This club also allows me to praise Jesus with my fellow peers. Musical theater group appealed to me because I already love music and I wanted to try acting, something that I'm still not that good at. My first sport as a freshman was cross country. I tried it out because I had never gone running for long distances before. I was truly inspired after this sport and realized how important my health is. After playing a sport, you are automatically in the Girl's Athletic Association or GAA. Last but not least, I joined the Comet Crazies because I want to be able to support the Sacred heart Comets at their games.

I really like that Sacred Heart offers a lot of clubs. I enjoy being guided and influenced to learn good morals through clubs and at Sacred Heart. Here, I feel like the school really dedicates a lot of time to the students. The teachers love to teach and they do as much as they can for their students.

Being in all these clubs is really fun. I enjoy making new friends and practicing my talents. This is the time for me when I'm discovering my hobbies and interests. Participating in these activities allows me to experience new things. I really enjoy being a part of all these clubs and learning from the experiences that are integrate it into my life. I really believe that being part of these clubs helps encourage us students to learn great qualities like responsibility, communication and time management.
