MySigns
(Here - Continuously updated)
Listed newest (to me) to oldest (to me)
Acquired 2026/06/03
30" x 30", R1-1
From Batavia, Ohio (exact location not confirmed but likely findable due to recognizable stickers on back of sign)
Made by Kleem Inc (even though I didn't realize until I got it home)
Doesn't actually look that scratched up in person, just how it rendered with the retroreflective sheeting
Installed September 2013, which means it's newer than the computer I'm typing this on
Acquired 2026/06/03
24" x 8", D3-1
From Batavia, Ohio (on Spring St)
Likely a Kleem product, though my evidence for that is not admissible in a court of law
My first (and currently only) mixed case sign
Acquired 2025/12/31
12" x 18", R7-107 design with R7-203-style legend
From Miami Township, Clermont County, Ohio (though I haven't found exactly where it was)
Manufactured by Kleem Inc (local Signs Georg)
Acquired 2025/05/19
36" x 8", D3-1
Not exactly MUTCD compliant
Dimensions are a little bit weird in some places
"NO OUTLET" thingy isn't a thing you can necessarily do
Kleem Inc likely
Acquired 2025/01/10
12" x 18", custom sinful design that should be an R7 or R8 series sign
Despite much searching, I do not know where it is from
Not MUTCD compliant in pretty much any way at all
Bad
Not good
aaaAAAAAAA
Who the hell is Saint Maint?
Yes I know it means "Street Maintenance" but like you aren't supposed to put nonstandard abbreviations on signs and also what does that mean? Like are they doing construction on the street every day? Or do they mean like street sweeping? Every day?
WHY IS THE R SMALLER
WHAT DO YOU MEAN "AFTER ¯/AM"? IT'S ALWAYS AFTER 7 AM?
JUST SAY "NO PARKING" AT THIS POINT
Why is the 7 made of loose strips of reflectivity (¯/)?
Also the periods, which should also be round in Highway Gothic
WHY IS IT GREEN
NO PARKING SIGNS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RED LEGEND ON WHITE BACKGROUND
Why would you spend an hour to make this abomination versus heading over to Signs Georg to buy a regular NO PARKING sign?
Also there's more space between the first and second lines than between the second and third lines
Why is every line spaced differently? The first two are off center towards the left but are mostly center aligned, then the last one is right aligned

AFTER ¯/AM
Acquired 2024/06/19
19" x 8", W16-8P
Close enough to MUTCD compliant I guess
Installed between November 2008 and July 2011
This design was fine in the 2003 MUTCD but was changed in the 2009 MUTCD
So when this was installed, it was either still compliant or recently uncompliant, and potentially still compliant regardless due to state MUTCD adoption dates
The screw holes are slightly off center on this sign for whatever reason (despite the counterpart sign on the other side of the intersection not having this issue)
I think it uses fluorescent yellow (compared to normal yellow), since it and the 25 M.P.H. sign (see below) are noticeably different shades of yellow and this sign is brighter
Acquired 2024/04/21
18" x 6", M4-11
I have looked and cannot find where was
Because it's blue, it should be at the beginning of an Interstate (unless the agency that put this up has no morals)
Not exactly MUTCD compliant
At least in the 2004 SHS, the sign is supposed to be 24" wide
Also M4-11 is no longer in the MUTCD but I'll give it a pass on that since the sheeting is basic enough to indicate the sign is old
Acquired 2024/04/02
24" x 18", R3-17
I dunno where from (Ohio)
It's MUTCD compliant
The weird thing is that this version of the design with the sharp top corners on the "BIKE LANE" part only started with the MUTCD 11th Edition which wasn't a thing when the sign was made
On older versions of this sign, the top corners of the "BIKE LANE" part are also rounded like the bottom corners
Though also I don't see anything that says you need the roundness on the top corners so like idk man
I understandn't the sticker on the back
I don't know what the "X 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 X 19 20 21 22" means at all
I think the second line is month and the third is year
But none of it is punched out or circled or anything
So all I know is that it was installed at some point between Jan 1 2010 and Dec 31 2017, probably
Acquired 2024/01/08
18" x 18", W13-1P
I dunno where from (Ohio)
According to the sticker on the back of the sign, was installed in September 2009 I think
Speaking of the sticker, I have no clue what month 0 would mean
Not exactly MUTCD compliant
Uses the design from the 2000 MUTCD
The 2003 MUTCD changed "M. P. H." to "M P H"
The design they used would thus have been 6 years out of date when installed
Has bullet hole in it because 'Murica
Acquired 2023/07/17
12" x 18", R7-107 derivative
From the City of Cincinnati
Most likely also made by them in their sign shop
Not exactly MUTCD compliant
Just an arrowhead instead of a full arrow
"TOW ZONE" instead of "TOW-AWAY ZONE"
"STOPPING PARKING" instead of just "PARKING" or just "STOPPING"
The dimensions are slightly strange (but I can't remember and can't be bothered to check if the dimensions were compliant at some point
I made a digital version of it (second image)
Almost entirely accurate to the real one
