16GB DDR4-3200 RAM (8GB soldered, 1 x 8GB Crucial [Addition])
512GB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD
Intel Iris Xe Graphics(?), 1920x1080 60Hz 15.6" LED IPS LCD display
Windows 11 Home
Other Info:
Disappointing honestly
I paid $500+tax for something that can barely run under stock specs
8GB RAM is not enough for Windows 11
The screen would black out if I was using all 8GB of RAM, which happened frequently
The build quality has been subpar at best
Bottom cover is cheap plastic and after routine maintenance (cleaning out fans, adding extra stick of RAM) the plastic case around the screws nearest to the screen hinges is broken, effectively making those screws emotional support only
I took the screen bezel off because the screen got damage somehow to see if there was something broken there, but there wasn't, and the bezel is very loose now
While taking off the bezel, I had to take off the plastic cover for the hinge/WiFi antenna area, and in doing so, the cheap plastic hooks broke and now it's held in with tape
I'm never buying a new laptop again (with an exception made if I ever have Framework laptop money)
Has a ThinkPad sticker on it
Speakers sound awful
BROKEN - Charger barely makes contact, and when it does, it gets concerningly hot. The charge port is on the main motherboard, and I couldn't solder a new one on to save my life, and I'm not paying $120 out the ass for a new mobo for a laptop that's broken in numerous other ways and I planned to replace already
Specs:
Intel Core i7-12700F @2.10GHz

Other Info:
Prebuilt garbage
At least its SI and not OEM
Not really worth it
Questionable components
Fans suck in the bad way

Other Info:
Not technically FULLY mine, but mostly mine
I was able to get a laptop back from school (for graduating or whatever idk, tldr this laptop was free and is legally mine. kinda.)
Uses best parts from both laptops (see below) to make ultra laptop
Motherboard (+ daughterboard, dc port, and headphone jack), SSD, battery, protective case, intel pentium sticker, and bottom case from legally acquired one. Rest of case, screen, speakers, keyboard, etc from less-so one.
Has case (not shown)
Worse than previous school laptops (see Dell Latitude 3300 [I unfortunately don't have one of them but it had an i5-8250U {real CPU}])
Functional battery
Actually not that bad
Small and light
Downright tolerable speakers

Broken
Capacitor knocked off board
I have no clue how to solder it back in
Used to be my only computer
First computer that fully belonged to me
Glossy screens should be abolished
HP calls it "BrightView". Supposedly the glossiness makes colors more vibrant. But that doesn't matter IF I CAN'T SEE THE FUCKING SCREEN. Horrible viewing angles + glossy screen is awful.
Specs:
Intel Core i3-6100T @3.20GHz
8GB DDR4-2133 RAM (1 x 8GB Gskill DDR4-2666 [underclocked to 2133] [salvaged from MSI GF63 Thin] [formerly 2 x 8GB Gskill but one of them went bad] [Upgrade from 1 x 4GB SK Hynix DDR4-2133])

Intel HD Graphics 530
Windows 7/10 Pro key, running Linux Mint 22 (not 22.1 yet cause I am unforgivably lazy and won't bother updating until it stops workings)
Other Info:
I LOVE IT it's so tiny
It's adorable
It's just a little guy
Complete with Dual VESA mount, which attaches it to a 2009 Dell E2010H monitor held up with ratass Walmart Tabletop TV stand things bought ad hoc after realizing the monitor stand wouldn't work with the VESA mount
Maybe not the most powerful, but that's usually okay
Specs:
Intel Celeron N3060 @1.60GHz

Windows 7/10 Pro
TSSTcorp CD-ROM drive
LED backlit keyboard (Upgrade from original non-backlit keyboard)
Aliexpress-ass USB 3.0 ExpressCard card, adding three USB 3.0 ports (bringing total USB to 7, of which 5 are 3.0) and getting hot after a little bit of system runtime
Other Info:
Purchased after HP 14t-bs000 broken
Purchased for $37.99 ($50 after tax + shipping) from Human-I-T (nonprofit in California) on eBay
Very good
Quite upgradeable
Two RAM slots (DDR3L-1600 is as cheap as water)
Socketed CPU (Supports 3rd Gen Intel, second to last gen to support socketed mobile CPUs)
You can replace the keyboard (I put a backlit one in mine)
Ethernet, WiFi, Cellular (me don't have but easily could), Modem (me DO have for some reason), Bluetooth (me don't have but easily could), maybe something else too
ExpressCard slot
Multiple things you can put in the "Module Bay"
CD/DVD drive
2nd Battery (for some reason, somehow)
2nd HDD (with third-party adapter)
With quick-release function for easy removal and reinsertion
Easily accessible HDD
Optional 9-cell battery (which mine both has and is still in excellent good fair health)
Docking port
and now i have a dell 08rnj7 e-port replicator to go with it
i have no use for it
the laptop doesnt feel great in there
i have no room for it
but it's really funny
and i found it at the thrift store for $8.99
also, between the port replicator, laptop, and expresscard, this laptop has 13 usb ports (of which 5 are 3.0, and 2 are esata), 2 vga, 1 hdmi, 1 dvi, 1 dp, 2 rj45, 3 audio (1 combined, 1 headphone, one mic), a "e-monitor stand connector" (???), 1 rj11, 1 expresscard slot (used), 2 dc in, a dvd drive, and a smart card reader, which is ridiculous.
Has an "Unobtrusive Mode"
when you press Fn+B, all light and sound emissions stop
I have no clue why you'd need or want this but whatever
Built like a tank
Very similar to Dell Latitude E6430 ATG, (semi-)rugged variant of this laptop
Works exceptionally well for being 12 years old
DAILY USE RATING: 3/5 Starts
PROS:
Reliable
Functional
Sturdy
Backlit keyboard
Functional
CONS:
Slow (its 12 years old, what'd you expect?)
Not great screen
TN panels should be illegal
1366x768 claustrophobic
No viewing angles
No colors
No brightness or dimness, only blandness
Mixed signals on whether or not it's replaceable
Connector common? No clue.
Apparently it's thicker than an eDP panel? Fuck if I know, I personally don't give a shit, I'll shove some styrofoam back there if it means getting a real man's screen (like an IPS or WVA or AT LEAST VA, no more of this TN panel shit, I'm done with these, they suck, and everyone who's used one knows that fact)
Lessening battery life (not much problem cause I mostly use it on charger at home)
No Bluetooth
In summary, this laptop is best experienced by a normal person with normal needs, or in moderation as a secondary computer. It is not 100% practical as a primary computer for my needs.

Bought for $300 (2nd attempt to replace the IdeaPad, after the 7490 (see below)
The screen was incorrectly labeled as 4K in the listing, so I got a $50 refund for that
A fucking pain to repaste
Ran hot because Intel can't let me be happy
Needed to be undervolted
Which would have come with instability baggage
And I just want a computer that fucking works, man.
Returned a week before 60 day limit expired
It tried it's best
I wanted to love it
But I couldn't do it
Welp, back to the E6430
I bought a 170W Lenovo charger for it that I can't return anymore
So if you need one in the Cincinnati region, feel free to contact me (price $0 because I don't yet have a grapple on the concept of money and it being a big deal when I don't have it)
Specs:
i7 and pain
Other Info:
Bought intended as a replacement for ol' shit4brains Lenovo Ideapad 2022
"It has all the specs I wanted, i7, backlit keyboard, functional screen, it was perfect!"
"Oh it doesn't look too bad, I'm sure I could fix it", said the naive fuck, looking at a listing that said "AS-IS PARTS ONLY" and only listed a few of the fuck ton of issues.
Fuck this laptop and fuck you too
Returned for a net loss of $10 and sanity on the whole endeavor
At this rate I may as well give up on dreams of not using this E6430 daily
Specs:
Intel Core i5-8250U @1.60GHz
8GB DDR4-2400 RAM (Unconfirmed)
128GB M.2 NVMe SSD (Unconfirmed)

Other Info:
Ye olden school laptop
I last saw them in 2020
Apparently someone I know had one until like 2023? I have no clue how that happened
REAL CPU
If I'm honest, I have little memory of this, other than anecdotal evidence of me stealing a Core i5 sticker from one, but the Core i5 sounds like a real CPU (compared to the Pentiums and Celerons), and the ports put the other two school laptops on this list to shame
Specs:
Intel Core i5-3210M @2.50GHz
8GB DDR3-1600 RAM
128GB or 256GB SSD (unconfirmed)
Intel HD Graphics 4000, 2560x1600 LED IPS Retina LCD display
macOS Catalina
Other Info:
Formerly Grandma's PC, currently brother's PC
Honestly I don't know much about Apple's bullshit
Fucking hell that resolution is insane
How are the graphics that can't even use more than two displays able to display higher resolutions than many laptops on the market today, 12 years later? The E6430 has the same graphics and I can't connect two monitors to it and have them both function, along with the internal display. Even the HP Laptop could do that! And this Apple thing gets the same cracker jack graphics as my E6430 and is able to run a screen at a resolution unmatched by ANY of my computers or monitors? The four computers I use most frequently (E6430, CyberPower, 3050 Micro, 3190) run at 1366x768, 1920x1080, 1600x900, and 1366x768, respectively. Bullshit.
Proprietary bullshit
Can't use HDMI to VGA adapter, must be Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter
Why do specs change so much between mid and late 2012?
Who the hell names macOS versions?
Apple is confusing, probably intentionally
C02L5767DR53
Decaying rapidly

idk its fine i guess, gets the joj done
Specs:

1600x900 60 Hz
TN CCFL-backlit LCD, anti-glare

Other Info:
I don't know if the HP G60 screen is uniquely shit or something, but this monitor looks perfectly cromulent, despite the TN and CCFL-ness of it
Has the BEST OSD controls of any monitor I've ever used
They just... make sense! What a concept!
Since the buttons are the bezel, they can display what each button does on the screen, no more guessing what the correct button is and where it is here.
Sure, it does mean that you need a decently sized bezel, but fuck bezel-less design if it means I get intuitive controls
This isn't the only Dell monitor I've seen that uses this control layout, but they lack the sleekness of these buttons
Currently being held up by a slightly oversized Walmart tabletop TV stand
I bought a dual VESA mount for OptiPlex 3050 Micro, only to realize I couldn't use the stock stand the monitor came with
Now the top is at the same height as my LG 24" monitor
Model name ends with "10" despite being from 2009 (2010's model ends with "11")
Specs:
19.5"
1600x900 60 Hz
TN LED-backlit, anti-glare
