Congratulations to Dr Richard Morton on winning the Royal Astronomical Society’s 2021 Fowler Prize for Geophysics.
A new paper has been published by Dr Patrick Antolin on the discovery of coronal reconnection nanojets (Antolin et al., 2021, Nature Astronomy, 5, 54)
A new paper has been published by Dr Richard Morton on creating global maps of the solar magnetic field (Yang et al., 2020, Science, 369, 694)
A new paper has been published by Dr Richard Morton and Professor James McLaughlin revealing a basal contribution from p-modes to the Alfvénic wave flux in the Sun’s atmosphere (Morton, Weberg & McLaughlin, 2019, Nature Astronomy, 3, 223).
Congratulations to our long-time collaborator from the art world, Helen Schell, who was awarded the 2019 Sir Arthur Clarke Award for Education and Outreach by an individual.
