Hey everyone!

Have you heard about the Southern California Myasthenia Gravis (MG) Support Group? We're a friendly bunch – over 100 strong and growing! Since 2019, we've been creating a really awesome community where people with MG, their caregivers, and even some amazing doctors and professionals can connect and share experiences.

We have regular virtual meetings, so it's super easy to join in, no matter where you live. Think of it as a place to get practical tips, hear from experts, and most importantly, find others who totally get what you're going through. It's all about support, understanding, and making things a little easier.

MG Community,

After more than 10 years of dedicated service as the Southern California Myasthenia Gravis Support Group Leader, I have made the heartfelt decision to retire from this role and pass the baton forward.

Serving the MG community has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting incredible patients, caregivers, advocates, supporters, and medical professionals whose strength, compassion, and resilience continue to inspire me every day. Together, we have built meaningful connections, expanded awareness, supported one another through challenges, and created a strong and caring community throughout California.

While this chapter of my life is coming to a close, my love and support for the MG community will always remain close to my heart. I am deeply grateful for the friendships, memories, and experiences shared throughout this journey.

It is with great confidence and excitement that I transition leadership to Scott Hazel, who will carry this role forward with fresh vision, dedication, and commitment to the MG community. I know the California Support Group will continue to grow and thrive under Scott’s leadership.

Thank you to everyone who has walked beside me during these past 10+ years. Your support, encouragement, and partnership have meant more than these words can express.
