Welcome to the San Francisco Myasthenia Gravis Support Group!
We welcome everyone from any location! Our meetings are on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. PT about every 6 weeks, and we currently meet over Zoom.
Email me at mgwarriorssf@gmail.com to be added to the group email list.
I started the San Francisco MGFA Support Group at the end of 2019. That year I led the MG Walk and realized, through organizing the event, that there wasn’t a support group in San Francisco. I held two in-person meetings before the COVID lockdown, and have been holding virtual meetings ever since. The virtual meetings have been a blessing in disguise as they have allowed many different MGers to connect from all over the Bay Area and beyond!
In recent years we’ve had the chance to meet in-person through the MGFA Community Health Fairs and we hope to have more opportunities in the future to meet together in-person! The goal in creating the group was to give MGers a safe space to come together, whether virtual or in-person, and easily relate with one another over a complicated, rare disease.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to me at mgwarriorssf@gmail.com with any questions or to get more information about anything MG related!
Sincerely,
