Eurodoc is the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers, its objectives are:

  • To represent doctoral candidates and junior researchers at the European level in matters of education, research, and professional development of their careers.

  • To advance the quality of doctoral programmes and the standards of research activity in Europe.

  • To promote the circulation of information on issues regarding young researchers; organize events, take part in debates and assist in the elaboration of policies about Higher Education and Research in Europe.

  • To establish and promote cooperation between national associations representing doctoral candidates and junior researchers within Europe.

The SNPA has been a member of Eurodoc since 2018.

The European Network of Postdoctoral Associations (ENPA) was formed to bring together postdoctoral associations and individual postdoctoral scientists currently working in Europe.

SNPA is a member of ENPA.

The National Junior Faculty of Sweden (NJF) was founded in 2014 following the meeting of six universities at Karolinska Institutet. Representing the over 3000 members (i.e. postdoctoral fellows, researchers and faculty members) , NJF aims to give this important group of researchers a strong and collective voice when addressing politicians, research funding bodies and the public.

Current members include Karolinska Institutet, Linköpings University, Lund University, Uppsala University, Umeå University, Örebro University, Sahlgrenska Academy at Gothenburg University, Malmö University, Stockholm University, and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.

The SNPA is a partner of NJF, both involved in representing the best interests of postdoctoral researchers in Sweden
