Oh! Michael heavenly warrior
Protect us poor souls
As we come to you seeking
Your intercession and protection.
Oh! Mighty Archangel
Chief of the heavenly army

Cele : Lord God, You have created man a little lower than the angels but as the crown of creation. We thank You and praise You for appointing angels to protect us, humans. We thank You also for appointing the Archangel Michael as the protector of the Church and our special protector. Look kindly upon the people, who have put their trust in St. Michael to whom we look at as our mediator. Kindly command him to protect us, poor souls who are troubled by physical, mental and spiritual turmoil. God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, One God, who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

Intercessory Prayer

Oh! St. Michael
(community joins) chief of angels and Lord's army, God has appointed you to protect His Church which He has purchased with the blood of Jesus Christ the son of God, by his death on the cross, from the forces of Satan. In this perilous life filled with dangers, protect us from the forces of evil and help us lead a righteous life. Please also pray for us that we may be protected from sickness, habitual sins, financial debts, mental torments and riots. Also protect our elders, parents and youth from the forces of evil. Please protect our spiritual and civil authorities also, and be with them in the hour of need. You are the one appointed to take to heaven the souls saved by our Lord Jesus Christ. So do not allow Satan to subdue humans, torment the church or desecrate the cross. Please also pray, to our Lord, that He may bestow His mercy on us the distressed, the sad and the aggrieved.
Concluding prayer

Lord Almighty God, You have appointed your Archangel St. Michael as the protector and guardian of the Church, which your Son has redeemed by his blood and death on the cross. Have mercy on us, the weak sinners who have come to you through the intercession of St. Michael. Please command your arch angel to protect us sinners whose lives are played with mental, physical sicknesses, afflictions turmoil and attacks from satanic forces and temptations. Let the whole world come to know about Your angel St. Michael and ask for his intercession and also for our special needs and blessings (.......ask....) we ask this in humility and in full faith through the intercession of St. Michael that it may be granted. Lord the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever.
