The rapid breakthroughs on the business front make it extremely necessory for management teachers to develop & use modern pedagogical tools, learning methods besides competence in the traditional modes of teaching-learning process

while one may be good at the traditional classroom lectures, use of Microsoft Excel augments the lecture a great deal and make the delivery more effective.

It is in this context, the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabadis organizing a Two-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) aimed at familiarizing the commerce and management teaching with a variety of ways the Microsoft Excel can be used in teaching Finance and allied courses.

Prof. B Rajasekhar, Dean, School of Management Studies, has a commendable track record in the field of higher education as an academic and academic administrator. Prof. Shekhar authored, edited and co-edited books in the area of consumer protection, Supply Chain Management and Quality Management. He has published about 70 research papers in reputed International and National Journals. He is a specialist in the area of  Service Quality and has been doing extensive research in various issues of service quality. He is visiting faculty to various Training Institutions, which include UGC-Human Resource Development Centres, National Institute of AP, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Indian Institute of Public Health etc., His primary areas of Interests include Service Quality, Quantitative Techniques, Operations Management, Research Mthodology and Industrial & Organizational Psychology. Dr. Lokanandha Reddy Irala, Associate Professor, School of Management Studies, is a graduate in Econometrics, MBA& PhD in Finance . Formerly associated with such B-Schools as Dhruva College of Management &IBS Hyderabad. Dr. Reddy has been a popular teacher of Accounting, Corporate Finance & Investment Analysis. He was known for extensive use of Microsoft Excel & SPSS in the class room besides publishing in Journals of repute. Dr. Reddy had facilitated several customized Training  Programmes for Industry Executives and had been an invited resource at several places.
