Generative AI is rapidly emerging as a powerful assistant for educators and researchers, offering innovative ways to design courses, create content, and streamline research activities. This one-day offline workshop focuses on practical applications of Gen AI in teaching and research without delving into technical fundamentals.
1. Develop lecture materials, quizzes, and case studies with AI assistance.
2. Use Gen AI for literature review, summarization, and research gap identification.
3. Apply AI tools for data analysis and coding support.
4. Explore prompt engineering strategies for effective outputs.
The sessions are designed to be highly hands-on, with live demonstrations and guided practice using widely available AI platforms. The workshop will also highlight issues of academic integrity, responsible usage, and institutional expectations, ensuring that participants can confidently and ethically integrate AI into their professional practices.
By the end of the program, participants will walk away with ready-to-use strategies, prompts, and toolkits that can immediately enhance both teaching effectiveness and research productivity.
Faculty members from any discipline.
Research Scholars from any discipline
1. Gen AI for teaching (Lesson plan, course modules, quiz, evaluation, rubrics, non-academic activities and etc).
2. Gen AI for research (Gap identification, literature summary, model development, theory identification, hypothesis argument creation variables or constructs identification, codes, data analysis and etc).
