VITA – Our Digital Superhero for Healthy and Sustainable Living 

As part of the Erasmus+ project “Small Steps Lead to Big Changes”, the partners created a digital cartoon character called VITA, a modern superhero who helps to share the project’s key messages with children, families and educators. VITA embodies energy, kindness and responsibility, showing that even small everyday choices can protect our health and our planet. 

Through short stories, images and digital cartoons, VITA speaks the language of children, making topics such as healthy eating, physical activity, mental well-being and environmental care more attractive and easier to understand. By following VITA’s adventures, children see concrete examples of how to choose better food, spend more time outdoors, reduce waste and respect nature. 

For teachers and early childhood educators, VITA is a valuable pedagogical tool that connects curriculum topics with engaging visual narratives. The character can be used in lessons, projects, school events and communication with parents, helping to create a common message between home and school. As an Erasmus+ product, VITA is available for all educators and schools who wish to inspire their students to become everyday heroes, taking small steps that lead to big changes. 

These Erasmus+ resources bring clear added value to classrooms by turning key messages about health, well-being and sustainability into concrete, engaging learning experiences that children can understand and remember. They support teachers and early childhood educators with ready-to-use tools that link curriculum content to real life, encourage active participation and critical thinking, and strengthen collaboration with families.
