Hi, My name is Grace (she/her), I am a SLU Dietetic Intern Student, and I am so excited to be working with you. I was raised in southern Louisiana, but I also come from Hispanic descent, so needless to say, food has always been an integral part of my life. From family gatherings, football season in the south, or learning my mom's best recipes, I have grown up with a love of food and cooking. But, I also know that not everyone has this same relationship with food. There are so many barriers we face just to establish a good relationship with food and to become comfortable with preparing healthy meals, this is where i come in!
Skills I Work on with my Clients
Weekly meal and grocery planning
Building balanced meals (no tracking required)
Snack & quick meal ideas
Counseling Style
My counseling style is: open, judgment-free, and supportive. I am here to give you a safe space to discuss your fears, hesitations, and most importantly, the goals you have for yourself. I believe in progress over protection. Together, we will focus on small, but meaningful steps that will slowly but surely shape you into the version of yourself you've always hoped for!
