Resources for LGBTQ+ Youth

LGBTQ+ Needs

Our intended audience is any organizations that work to provide services for LGBTQ+ youth. LGBTQ+ individuals typically need assistance with finding a safe space and counseling. During the COVID-19 pandemic, LGBTQ+ youth require more assistance with housing and food. They might also need support with their own mental health issues, so counseling and therapy services are still needed. Staff need help in technical support to keep providing services to the youth. They also might need support with their own physical and mental health due to this pandemic. Two things that people should be aware of while using online resources are limited access to the internet and Zoom bombing.
