PingInsight is an iOS network diagnostic tool that helps you identify your current connection type, measure network performance, and determine where connection problems occur—and who may be responsible.
If you have any questions, bug reports, or feature suggestions, please contact us:

We typically respond within 2–3 business days.
To display the name of the currently connected Wi-Fi network (SSID), iOS requires apps to have Location permission.
PingInsight uses this permission only to read the Wi-Fi SSID and does not access or upload your geographic location.
Features such as ICMP and traceroute may behave differently depending on the network environment or simulator limitations.
Mobile network generation (4G/5G), ASN lookup, and related information require a physical device and a network that allows ICMP traffic.
It is normal for some intermediate network hops not to respond.
Yes.
Speed tests transfer a significant amount of data between your device and test servers. When using a cellular connection, actual mobile data usage will occur.
Please use this feature with consideration of your data plan.
Open the Pro features page and tap Purchase to unlock premium features such as Continuous MTR Monitoring.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, tap Restore Purchases on the same page to restore your purchase using the original Apple ID.
PingInsight Pro is a one-time purchase with lifetime access.
The free version displays banner advertisements.
Upgrading to PingInsight Pro automatically removes all ads.
Responsibility Analysis is a heuristic estimate based on packet loss, latency, and network ownership information collected along the route.
The results are provided for reference only and do not constitute proof that a specific ISP or network provider is responsible for an issue.
We attempt to filter out false positives caused by intermediate devices deprioritizing ICMP traffic, but occasional inaccuracies may still occur.
We do not sell your personal information.
The free version displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Since advertising may involve third-party tracking, the app will request tracking permission when first launched.
For route analysis, public IP addresses discovered during traceroute may be sent to ipinfo.io to obtain network ownership information (ASN and ISP details). These IP addresses are not linked to your identity.
For complete details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Due to iOS platform restrictions, third-party apps cannot access:
Mobile carrier name
Cellular signal strength (RSSI)
5G frequency band information
SA/NSA deployment details
eSIM vs. physical SIM identification
Wi-Fi channel information
Therefore, PingInsight does not display these details.
Thank you for using PingInsight.
We hope it helps you better understand and troubleshoot your network connections.
