OmniaNote ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use OmniaNote , including its recording, speech-to-text transcription, translation, AI meeting notes, file import, export, and related features.
OmniaNote requires microphone access when you choose to record audio.
When you start a recording, the App may create and store an audio recording on your device so that you can play it back, transcribe it, edit the resulting transcript, and generate meeting notes.
The App does not activate the microphone for recording unless the recording functionality is being used.
Your recordings are not sold or used for advertising purposes.
You may choose to import audio or video files into OmniaNote .
The App accesses only the files that you explicitly select or otherwise authorize the App to access.
Imported media may be processed to generate transcripts, translations, summaries, key points, action items, chapters, or other features requested by you.
On supported Apple devices, OmniaNote uses Apple system speech technologies to perform speech-to-text processing.
When on-device transcription is used, speech recognition is performed on your device and your recording does not need to be uploaded to our servers for transcription.
Some languages require Apple speech models to be downloaded to your device before transcription is available.
Those model downloads are provided and managed by Apple and may be subject to Apple's privacy policies and system services.
OmniaNote may generate content such as:
Meeting summaries
Key points
Action items
Chapters or outlines
Suggested titles

Answers to questions about a transcript
On supported devices, the current on-device AI functionality is designed to use Apple's system AI technologies.
When an on-device processing mode is used, your transcript is processed on the device rather than being sent to our servers for AI generation.
OmniaNote does not use your recordings or transcripts to train our own artificial intelligence models.
OmniaNote may allow you to translate transcripts into another language.
Where supported, translation is performed using Apple system translation technologies.
Additional language resources may need to be downloaded by the operating system.
Depending on the features you use, OmniaNote may store information such as:
Audio recordings
Imported audio or video
Transcripts
Timestamps
Speaker labels or names that you enter
Meeting titles
Notes
AI-generated summaries
Key points
Action items

This information is used to provide the functionality that you request.
Your App data is primarily stored within the App's storage on your device.
We do not sell the contents of your recordings, transcripts, or meeting notes.
You can delete recordings and related information using the controls provided by the App.
Deleting the App may also remove locally stored App data, subject to Apple's operating-system behavior and any backup or synchronization services that you have separately enabled.
OmniaNote may allow you to export or share recordings, transcripts, summaries, subtitles, documents, or other generated content.
Information is transmitted to another person, App, service, or storage provider only when you initiate or authorize the corresponding sharing or export action.
Once information has been exported to another service, its storage and processing are governed by that service's privacy practices.
Please review the privacy policy of the service with which you choose to share information.
If a version of OmniaNote provides an optional cloud synchronization feature, information necessary to provide that feature may be transmitted to the applicable cloud service when you enable or use synchronization.
The App will identify such functionality to you before it is used.
We will update this Privacy Policy where necessary if additional cloud processing or third-party data processing services are introduced.
The App may access limited technical information required for normal operation, such as:
Device capabilities
Operating system version
Language and locale
Availability of Apple speech or AI functionality
Status of required language models
This information may be used locally to determine which features are available on your device.
If you purchase a paid version, subscription, or other in-app product, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive or store your full credit card number or Apple payment credentials.
Apple may provide limited transaction information necessary to determine whether you are entitled to purchased features.
Apple's processing of payment information is governed by Apple's own privacy policies.
The App does not include the contents of your recordings, transcripts, or AI-generated meeting notes in analytics data.
If anonymous or aggregated diagnostics are used to improve stability or performance, they are not intended to identify the contents of your conversations.
Apple may separately provide developers with diagnostics or App Store analytics according to the privacy and analytics settings of your Apple device and Apple account.
OmniaNote does not use the contents of your recordings, transcripts, translations, or AI-generated meeting notes for advertising.
If advertising functionality is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated as required before related data collection is introduced.
OmniaNote does not use recordings, transcripts, or meeting notes to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
We do not sell your recordings, transcripts, meeting notes, or personal information.

When necessary to provide a feature that you explicitly enable
When required by applicable law or a valid legal process
When necessary to protect the security or integrity of the App
Recordings and transcripts may contain confidential, personal, professional, medical, financial, legal, or other sensitive information.
You are responsible for deciding what information you record and for obtaining any consent required by applicable law.
We recommend that you avoid sharing confidential recordings or transcripts with third parties unless necessary.
Privacy and recording laws vary by jurisdiction.
Some locations require consent from one party to a conversation, while others may require consent from all participants.
You are responsible for ensuring that your recordings comply with applicable laws and for obtaining any required permission before recording another person.
OmniaNote relies on security protections provided by iOS and iPadOS to protect locally stored App data.
On-device processing reduces the need to transmit recordings and transcripts over the internet.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You should protect your device with appropriate device security measures such as a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
Locally stored recordings and meeting information remain available until you delete them, remove the App, or otherwise cause the information to be removed according to the App's available controls and Apple's system behavior.
You can delete recordings and associated information directly within the App.
Information that you separately export or share is not controlled by OmniaNote after it leaves the App.
OmniaNote is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without the authorization required by applicable law.
Because recordings may contain information about other people, users should exercise particular care when recording minors.
OmniaNote relies on certain technologies and services supplied as part of Apple's operating systems and App Store platform.
These may include services relating to:
Speech recognition
Language-model downloads
Translation
On-device AI
App Store purchases
Operating-system backup or synchronization
Apple's handling of information through its own services is governed by Apple's applicable privacy policies.
Privacy, data-protection, and recording laws vary between jurisdictions.
You are responsible for using the App in accordance with the laws that apply to you and to the people whom you record.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable laws, or the services used by the App change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
