I'm Aquila Simmons. I am a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering doing thermodynamics research with an focus in sustainable energy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Atomistic Simulation and Energy Lab. 

I have a passion for design and problem solving that has led me to study engineering and art in their many forms. I graduated from MIT in 2023 with a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Theater Arts.

Outside of my research I am a story teller, orator, and artist. This site incudes some of the works I am most proud of from my years as a designer. They are sorted into mechanical engineering works, theater works, and independent art projects.
