Once yearly (never at exactly the same time, but the signs make it easy to plan for), bioluminescent algae appears at the shore. Stormclan's cats say that it's Starclan coming down for a night to play in the water with them. The cats cover themselves in glowing algae whilst splashing in the waves. It's a night of celebrating the dead and appreciating life. The clan hunts to prepare for it, bringing a small feast to the waves where even kits and elders come join them. Often cats sleep the whole day of and stay up the night through, dancing to the morning calls of songbirds as they start up at dawn.
In leaf-bare, a patrol of the bravest warriors participates in a hunt of the eagles at their nests. They seek to bring back at least 1 eagle to feed the clan. It's a dangerous but fun event for the most daring warriors and makes for something of a feast in the middle of a scarcer season.
After reaching warriorhood within the clan, a cat will make the journey to Starwatch Spire alone as a rite of passage the night of their ceremony. Cats with littermates or who are otherwise having their ceremony the same night will leave hours after each other (so as to keep them separate but on the correct night) and are entrusted not to interact; this journey must be made alone. It gives them time to reflect and spend some time alone after everything. When they reach the spire, they will commune with Starclan for the only time in the average warrior's life. With a cat in mind, the new warriors will touch their nose to the old light and hear the voice of whichever soul finds them.
Once a year, a weird cat that inexplicably shows up. He brings with him several treasures from twolegplace, including collars and cloth. He's willing to trade them with the cats of the clan in exchange for pretty shells and unique seaside objects. He moves yearly between the twolegplace and Stormclan's territory to trade these unique items between them (and get food in whatever place he's staying.) Because he's got these strange little paws, he's also able to apply accessories in unique ways for the clan cats.
Most cats will court unofficially for some moons before declaring they want an official mateship ceremony. The leader or deputy will conduct this ceremony and most of the clan will get involved.
After officially being declared mates, most cats will have a celebration in camp filled with gifts from clanmates and loved ones, most of which are nest-building materials. They'll then spend the rest of the day alone together searching for more nesting stuff, returning to camp in time to build the nest and sleep in it their first night together.
After a cat dies, they're left in the center of camp for a day to have a vigil held in camp. Elders tend to contribute most to the preparing of the body. While the vigil happens, the cats closest to the deceased will prepare a carrying nest. When night falls, the body is carried up Star's Path to be left near Starwatch Spire. It's said that leaving a cat to be scavenged -- especially by buzzards and other creatures of the sky -- makes the journey to Starclan easier.
Beyond the basis of the Final Climb (the carrying of the body up) and leaving the body exposed, every funeral differs. Usually cats will carry them together, sharing stories about the deceased. Many will have different ceremonies when they reach the top. It's all very based in preference and there's a bunch of different things the cats do.
