Character Creation Rules

No super unrealistic designs! Sparklecats + super specific markings aren't allowed! We'll be pretty lenient on this though. If you're not sure, ask!
No going into debt. You must have the scales available when making a purchase.
Most bans must be applied to a character before they're brought in.
Character redesigns post-introduction are generally not allowed.
Your character's backstory must be properly TW'd somewhere visible, but you do not have to follow standard server rules on censorship/trigger warnings unless you're explicitly posting applicable text in the server (linking to a doc/toyhouse is fine)
UNLESS they're from a litter with set names/motivations, kit names MUST be based on appearance in some way! Older rogues who come in could choose a prefix for their own reasons, but a kit should be based on their appearance unless they have a parent that would be picking less traditional names (ask).

Visual Application

Please fill out the visual application here! Make sure to follow any instructions!!

Pelt ref/color pallette are optional but you'll get a +5 scale bonus for full completion of the application.

Do NOT shade the eye. It may be 1 color (unless sectoral heterochromia is applied. If standard heterochromia is present, please copy the eye and fill in both. This "base color" eye ref is to help determine whether an eye color is abnormal or not.

3 positive traits, 3 negative traits, and 3 neutral traits. You can do more, but positive and negative must always be balanced (so you can have 3 neutral and 5 positive and negative, for example)

1 paragraph minimum explaining these traits

Basic appearance description.

List of used bans, scars, and accessories (please keep this updated!)

History (minimum 1 paragraph per section of Kithood, Apprenticeship, Adulthood, as they apply.)

Optional:

Trivia, VCs, Theme songs, etc. Details like this will earn you extra points but won't count against you for not being included.

Extras

Adoption

While there is no formal purchase required to adopt a character or be adopted, you need:

At least 1 roleplay or 20 DLs of general interaction pre-adoption.
1 roleplay between all involved parties agreeing to the adoption.
To open a ticket between players agreeing to the adoption

Mateship

Mateship requires a 300 scale purchase and requires:

At least 2 roleplays or 40 DLs of general interaction pre-mateship.
1 roleplay between all involved parties agreeing to the mateship.
To open a ticket between players agreeing
All IC relatives' players informed about the decision
1 drawn or written piece (preferably a collab) depicting characters getting "engaged"

After meeting these requirements, you gain access to a mini-event showing their cat wedding! Read up on our traditions for more on that.
