Shitposts (tracing over memes/etc) earn 5-15 scales depending on effort.

** Simple is cell shading / small overlays. Complex is defined light source, multiple layers and dynamics, etc. Complexity and effort determine payout. Shading is counted per piece. Group art or pages with 3+ characters clearly visible (not just blobs in the background) may earn 3-5 extra scales per character past 3.

Background grading is by how detailed the background work is. Examples here: Sta.sh

Extra bonuses include:

NPC: + 5 scales

Official Meme/Prompt: + 10 scales

PC (not yours): + 10 scales

Animation bonus: + 15 scales per shot. + 5 scales for tweened.

Lineless: + 5 scales

Non-cat presence: + 5 scales (predators, prey, etc)

Comic: + 5 scales per page

Hypos (must be fullbodies to be counted.) Hypo-parents or hypo-siblings may also be counted. These only earn scales when originally drawn. Any extra art is considered "unofficial character" art and only accepted PCs/NPCs will count for scales.

What you do with hypos is up to you. You may not sell or trade hypodesigns involving official NPCs without explicit permission from any staff involved. You need permission from involved members to sell, trade, or use any hypos involving others' characters.

On-base: 10 scales per

** if you make the base specifically for this set of hypos, it's 15 scales instead.

Off-base: 5 scales + normal fullbody count

+ 5 scales for 1+ parent being not owned by you. Doesn't stack.

Literature/RP

Every 7 submitted words (rounding up) are worth 1 scale. For every 1000 words, you get an extra 10 scales.

Official group prompt: +10 scales

Completed roleplays (with a clear ending that makes sense/isn't clearly forced or rushed): + 15 scales per active participant

Daily life posts are worth an extra scale per post. (Stacks with word count bonuses)
