WHO WE ARE:
Billie works in higher education for Cengage Learning. Her goal is to increase the use of technology in both face to face and distance learning to increase engagement and student outcomes. She is also wrapping up a masters in ed tech from University of Arizona.
Steven Harris is Dean of Libraries at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. His goal is to encourage faculty to adopt digital literacy and create to learn methods in the classroom and to make students and faculty aware of the resources the library has available to them.

PARTNER 1 CONTEXT AND LEARNERS: Higher ed library director, learners are other university librarians and faculty.
PARTNER 2 CONTEXT AND LEARNERS: Higher Ed Faculty and using digital technology in face to face and online formats
THE PURPOSE OF OUR INQUIRY: Expand the types of assignments that are accepted in college classes to use digital tools. Create a marketing and learning campaign to raise faculty awareness of digital pedagogy and available digital tools.
LESSON SUMMARY: Using digital and other marketing tools (pdf, directions, FAQ) to encourage library and CTL use for faculty that want to expand classroom assignments using technologies available.
TEACHING GOALS: Expand assignment options using the technology provided by the University and the training available
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Faculty will know what technology tools are available to them and to students. Faculty will employ [just one] new digital assignment in each course they teach.
TEXTS/TOOLS/TECHNOLOGIES AND RATIONALE: Initially we will use google slides for a story board but would expand per need to add videos, pdf, email templates etc. A multimedia marketing campaign would be ideal!
