Description: SPAR (Spontaneous Argumentation) Debate is a competitive debate event where participants engage in short, spontaneous debates on a variety of topics. The focus is on quick thinking, effective argumentation, and persuasive delivery.

Rules & Regulations:
-SPAR rounds consist of either team receiving a W (win) or L (loss) with each speaker in the round receiving speaker points (25-30)
-Topics are given to participants shortly before the debate begins, often covering a wide range of issues.
-Arguments must be original and formulated on the spot. Participants are given a brief preparation time (typically 1 to 2 minutes) to organize their thoughts and arguments.
-The debate includes a proponent's opening statement, opponent's opening statement, proponent's rebuttal, opponent's rebuttal, and closing statements from both sides.
