blue night is about accepting love
For some, receiving love feels overwhelming.
Love can feel undeserved, suffocating even, when you don’t feel worthy enough of receiving it. You reach out, palms up and empty-handed, as someone, with a heart as big as the sky, pours raindrops that fill your hands and slip through the cracks between your fingers. It feels like an ocean in your hands: too large for you to hold and too heavy for you to carry.
Maybe you’re used to downpours and foggy, suffocating air: windy turbulent rainfall that sways you left and right, leaving you disoriented in the midst of chaos.
But maybe this is different. Maybe they give because - to them - the act of giving love is a mere few raindrops.
