blank walls is about falling in love
Falling in love is colorful. Turbulent. Chaotic.
There’s the butterflies, the flutters, the curiosity of the unknown. The empty hearts of two guarded people become intertwined through a shared canvas, meant to fill in the blank spaces that have longed to be colored in for far too long. Breathe with me, look at me, hold me - this is the start of something beautiful.
I urge the other person to draw. It doesn’t matter that the lines are crooked and the colors are in disarray; there is beauty in the freefall of newly blooming love. I find stability in the chaos, where perceived coincidence is felt as fate. Look at me, hold me - we already breathe together, hearts intertwined, and the borders fade away as the entanglement deepens.
The colors are bleeding together, borders eliminated with nothing restraining two different palettes. What can only be heard is portrayed through colors, expressing tragedy before two people connected and created their own borders: freehand borders of openness - borders that don’t restrain, but connect.
