FINAL THOUGHTS
Inspired by the beautiful artistry of "Gris," I embarked on an exciting journey to explore environmental storytelling in game development! While diving into this challenge was a bit daunting due to my limited experience with 2D games, I remained eager and passionate. I’ve enjoyed numerous 2D side-scrollers over the years, even if they're a bit dated now. My ambition for this game was to create an expansive world with rich depth. I experimented with flipping free assets and resizing them to evoke a captivating neo-dystopian atmosphere! This resourcefulness not only fueled my creativity but also turned out to be a fun and essential part of the process. I’m thrilled to see how these techniques can bring my vision to life!
