Type: School Project, 3D Race Simulator (solo build)

Description: This game allows players to race around a track while avoiding enemy cars and collecting digital cubes. I created all user interface elements and player mechanics, except for the forward/backward movement and braking options.
Purpose: The theme I aimed for combines elements of "Mario Kart" with a "Cyberpunk" aesthetic.

FINAL THOUGHTS
This was my inaugural journey into creative expression, and I couldn't be more excited! After transitioning from the Army, I felt a strong urge to create something that truly mattered to me. Drawing inspiration from the thrilling worlds of Cyberpunk and the fun of Mario Kart racing, I embraced the challenge of bringing a game to life. Although I only had about two months of experience with Unity, I decided to dive in headfirst. My aim was to capture that exhilarating feeling that draws players in. One of the biggest hurdles was comparing my work to various YouTube videos to nail the excitement factor. Looking back, this experience was incredibly enlightening and allowed me to push my boundaries and achieve some amazing results!
