Directions: In your notebook, put "Safety" in the table of contents, and Safety on the title of the page for your notes. You will copy the following slides:
6-7, 16-18, 34, 55-59
• Exhibit knowledge of appropriate personal safety procedures
• Describe the role of OSHA in the technical workplace
• Describe and use safety equipment
• Describe the function of safety devices
• Safely and effectively manipulate materials, tools, and processes
• Apply appropriate care and maintenance in the use of tools and machines
Safety Projects
due on Friday 9/23/22 (5th period) and Monday 9/26/22 (1st period)
Directions: After Mrs. Mathieu gives you your group members' names, log the title "Safety Project Notes" in your table of contents and at the top of the first page of your notebook. Then follow the following format for your notes:

Define the Problem:
Plan of Work Chart (How will you divide your time and responsibilities?) - Click here, and recreate this chart in your notebook. You will fill it in,
Brainstorm - (Rich Picture of what you imagine yourself doing. This should be a storyboard if you are doing a skit, etc.)
Research - (Look up other ideas and each person write down a paragraph and reference information for at least one in their notebook. You can also do a survey to see what people want.)
Choose a Solution - rate and rank each group member's ideas using a Pough Chart
Develop a Prototype - (Make what you imagined. Take pictures, and document in your notebook).
Test and evaluate - (Survey/get other people to give you feedback on your project)
Re-design - (change or edit things based off the feedback given)
Communicate your results - Post the final project to your website under the new page that you create titled "Safety." Show the class and teacher, and write the outcome in your notebook.
