OAKS ALPACA FARM
25TH MARCH 2026
Thirty six members of our group were bused to The Oaks Alpaca Farm by our usual reliable driver “Albo”. We were greeted warmly and served a delicious morning tea. We viewed the group of female Alpacas who were eager to see us. Our host Peter gave the group a most informative talk and answered many many questions. During his talk Peter was accompanied by the lovely Alpaca Maddie who is 15 months old. The tour concluded with a demonstration of how the fleece is carded then spun. Many of our group were interested in purchasing some of the lovely items made by the owners.
