Keen of creating drama on the spot? Like to dabble in split second characterizations and and show off energized hilarious scenes? Never tried the mayhem of improv fun, but always wanted to? Then why not join the Improv Tigers!

What is Improv?

Improv or improvisation is creating dramatic scenes spontaneously live in front of an audience without any preparation time. You are often given a role or scenario as a stimulus and then you present immediately . This can lead to absolutely innovative but often very comic story lines. Live Improv is always guided by a unique set of performance games that are not only challenging but fabulous fun for both players and audience alike.

Who is the Improv Tigers?

The Improv Tigers are the secret weapon of SIS - an ace team of energetic and creative students who are adept at creating impromptu drama. These improvisers enter the inter-school Improv Tournament within the Seoul area - to battle it out to win the Improv Cup.

We hold regular workshops of both the uninitiated and those with more experience - so don't worry, if you never tried it, you can start with the easy games and work your way up to expert level. Game over! Or maybe not!

You can join the Improv Tigers at 'cub' level then as you get to know the games - audition for 'roar' level to compete against other teams. We also hold local tournaments within the school between 'cub' and/or 'roar' teams for a SIS community audience.

The Improv Tigers are also available for school entertainment, promotional or charity work.
