About Mr. M

Shane Meiklejohn is from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. After high school, he earned a cadetship as a newspaper photographer and was later a production researcher for a TV network. He returned to university to study Theatre, and made Drama his career, teaching high school Drama in Australia before moving to Japan to teach at Yokohama International School for many years then to Sri Lanka to assume the role as Head of Drama at the British School in Colombo before becoming the Drama Teacher at Seoul International School in 2018. Shane has been involved in community theatre and drama education for over 20 years – as an actor, theatre technician and director. He is a qualified Theatresports Practitioner (Improvisation) under the mentorship of Keith Johnstone in Canada and was trained in the Japanese Theatre form of Butoh with the acclaimed group Dairakukadan from Tokyo.
