Adjacent to the Maryland Line Cemetery. The original school, a small brick building, was located in the village of New Market. Later, a school was built on the Sampson property and was called Sampson School. That building caught fire and 1877 the present building was erected in the village, now known as Maryland Line. The New Market School building is now a residence.
